Having played 12ji letting this one pass would have been impossible, as soon as it was announced I was eager for it's arrival.
The fiancée mentioned in the first game, A childhood friend, AND FEATHER!!
It sounded way too perfect and I mst admit it turned out to be so, Feather's route was both great and disappointing, I really would have liked if QR didn't add that yuri kiss, but I could have lived with that anyway but then they made Feather a haraguro houn128 I totally didn't see that one coming!!! The "female...friend?" ending made me feel like Feather got a long term plan on his hand and was ready to put it into action houn112. I was so glad the rest of his route was better than that Feather was a great lover and turns out that he really wants Rosalia all for himself as he is also her best friend when in female form, needless to say that made me laugh.
Linus on was a pleasant surprise for me, I didn't expect Yusa to be able to pull an air headed boke so well!! Linus was just Lovable houn125 and really cute (save for that part on Louis end) his love for his bear plushie was just so cute, and then there's the part at the ball in which he mans up and wants to protect Rosalia, I loved seeing how he could be both cute and brave all in one, sadly his route didn't have more ***下载/download/otomedream/ダウンロード*** out because I would have loved hearing Yusa's ***下载/download/otomedream/ダウンロード*** y noises.
Oswell was the cuttest ossan ever!!! I believe had Louis not being so perfect, Oswell's route would have been the absolute best part of the game, at first he made me really angry at him for how he acted so mean, but as we got to know him better he warmed up and the ***下载/download/otomedream/ダウンロード*** ual tension between them was so much, I was like "JUST KISS ALREADY!!" but it had to wait until the mid route ending happened, all in all the best part of his route is when he confesses that Rosalia is totally his type and that's why he tried to keep his distance, It gave the early stages of his route a totally new light to see them trough.
Louis was just perfect, save for the fact that QR didn't made good use of him being Rosalia's childhood friend, seeing the tokutens I tough we would get to see at least one flashback to their infancy but it never happened even if they did talk about it, it also hurt really badly just how friend zoned he was in most of the game, I couldn't believe it, reason why I saved him for last, I don't care that Damien's route is the meat of the plot, Louis is the character that should be saved for last so he can finally be saved from the friend zone.
Damien's route was a whole character arc for him and his trust issues, also being the one most related to the plot of the game, he obviously needed to solve them, I liked how his background served to flesh a little more how were things for monsters in this universe, or more like how monsters usually see humans in here, it also showed that monsters can lie about their last name but they mostly choose not to, I guess they do take pride on who they are.
I would have to say I'm disappointed there was no Reynald in this game (save for the deluxe edition booklet) I would have loved it have he appeared, I will keep hoping he gets a route in a new game if it ever happens; Elise's character showed enough to make me curious as to how she would be as the ***下载/download/otomedream/ダウンロード*** , of course with Reynald as a choice to be datable (make it happen QR).
The system of the game was godly as it was smooth in all senses, (especially the end of the random encounters) the auto skip and skip to next choice options made the game just perfect, but it also made it seem short, I hope in the future QR could extend their games so the Skip to next choice isn't a factor to decide if the game was short or not.
I hope QR really releases a third game because I seriously want to see more of this world and also because the interactions improved in this one compared to 12 ji.
